Sustainable Northwest Wood's Oregon White Oak flooring is a solid hardwood flooring designed to last generations. This high-quality product is sourced from small mills in the Willamette and Rouge Valleys in Oregon.
Our solid hardwood oak flooring is made from locally harvested native oak trees. It is available in face widths of 2 1/2" through 6". Choose one for a uniform installation, or mix different widths for an organic, flowing look.
Our solid hardwood flooring is kiln-dried to less than 12% moisture content. It is 3/4" thick, end-matched, and comes in lengths up to 96". It is available in both Select and Character grades with mixed grain, small tight knots, and an appealing display of typical Oregon White Oak colors ranging from soft vanilla to light taupe to hazelnut.
Engineered and prefinished flooring options are also available.
Our oak is sourced from small mills in the Willamette and Rogue Valleys. Most of the logs are salvaged from storm damage or chip yards.
Oregon White Oak is indigenous to the Pacific Northwest and grows from central California into British Columbia. For many decades, land owners and residents in our region have under-valued this species, sending unwanted oak logs to local chip yards while importing vast quantities of Eastern White Oak from east of the Mississippi. Oregon White Oak is a beautiful, useful, and remarkably durable hardwood with a far more interesting and rich color palette than Eastern White Oak. Sustainable Northwest Wood is proud to support its use and the work of land owners and foresters who are working to ensure its survival.
